The Jensens
A true life story
Mike and Laura Jensen had no idea that a ministry could use their creative gift and specialized backgrounds in printing for God’s glory. They had no idea, that is, until representatives from Biblical Literature Fellowship (BLF) arrived one Thursday at their church.
The Jensens had been praying for a year about how God might use them, when the Zurfluhs came to their church and presented the great spiritual needs in French-speaking Africa and Europe. The presentation illustrated the powerful work of BLF, and when Mike and Laura saw that missionaries were needed, they felt certain this was the answer to their year of prayer.
A short time later, the Lord provided the resources for Mike and Laura to join a ten-day BLF work team. Those ten days in Belgium confirmed the decision they had already made in their hearts to become full-time missionaries. It was clear that God could use the gifts He had given Mike and Laura. And He wanted to use them at BLF Europe.
